Marathon Staffing is seeking dependable workers for our Shipping Positions in Simpsonville, SC

Job Title: Shipper
Department: Shipping
Day Shift: 7:00am-7:00pm or Night Shift: 7:00pm-7:00am
Alternating weekly schedule- 3 days per week (36 hours) and 4 days per week (48)
**Work every other weekend**

Pay $12.35 (Day) $12.85 (Night)

Summary: Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Receive and store all finished goods produced by manufacturing
• Maintain inventory control of all finished goods received, including use of bar codes
• Retrieve stock as necessary to fill orders
• Stencil cartons or attach labels as required by customers
• Assist drivers in loading stock weighing 10 to 50 pounds on trailers
• Responsible for counts and item accuracy on all loads shipped
• Ensure shipments are packed properly and protected against damage in transit
• Repack stock as needed
• Keep department clean and organized

QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to repeatedly perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school education or GED preferred; or up to one month related experience or training
LANGUAGE SKILL
Ability to have a working knowledge of the English language. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Employee must frequently lift and/or move 20 to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
