CNC Milling Set Up Operator

We are looking for an experienced CNC Operator to use computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery safely and accurately to perform a variety of functions and must have knowledge with setting up milling machines. Manufacturing work shop is located in North Phoenix, Az!

Primary Goal: The goal is to produce high quality parts and materials by programming machines to perform the right operations in a timely manner.

Other Tasks:

• Study blueprints and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerance of the finished work.
• Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as coolant flow, and depth of cut.
• Enter commands to retrieve, input, and edit computerized machine control parameters.
• Ability to assemble measure and load tooling for subsequent operations into the tool-changers.
• Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjust machine controls or control parameters as required,
• Use micrometers, calipers, depth gauges and other precision measuring devices to confirm part geometry meets tolerance specifications.
• Assemble and pre-set tooling for next operation during automated cycle to reduce machine downtime.
• Ability to maintain, clean and lubricate machines as required.
• Resolve machining problems as needed.

• Schedule is 4 x 10 (Monday - Thursday) Available 1^st, 2^nd, & 3^rd Shifts
• Fulltime position with potential Overtime.
