Job Description
Marathon Staffing is hiring for 2nd Shift Production in Claremont, NH.

Shift: 8 Hour shifts – 2nd shift/ Monday to Friday –2:30pm-11pm 

Duties/Responsibilities
• Receive safety training and adhere to all safety guidelines in material preparation and billet casting
• Receive training from the supervisor in billet casting & dry oven loading & unloading
• Work with the team and prepare raw materials with minimal leftover waste
• Adhere to the instructions and SOP (standard operation procedure)
• Monitor machines & equipment during operation and report issues to supervisor
• Perform basic quality checks in the process of production
• Receive training for forklifts to transport products & related parts safely
• Maintain organized work areas and clean floor, machines, and equipment
• Help other teams if needed

Qualification and Skills/Minimum Job Requirements:
• Ability to adhere to a strict safety focused work environment
• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team
• Thorough understanding of or the ability to learn production machines & equipment
• Understanding OSHA, Lean Manufacturing, 5-S
• Ability to process trouble shoot a plus
• Basic Computer Skills for data entry in production
• Ability to use basic hand tools and read a tape measure

Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods working on foot, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent
• bending and stooping
• Must be able to work in changing climatic conditions (Cold environment in winter & hot in summer)
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time
• Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced
